Dattos offers a series of rule options to help identify the desired file.

File name and extension identifier via "Contains" rule

Informs the name and extension of the file searched via the "contains" identification rule
You can use asterisk (*)as a wildcard character (meaning anything), for example: *.xlsx
You can also use the reference date as a filter criterion when composing a name by informing it using the word "date" key followed by a mask, for example: extrato_{date:yyyy-MM-dd}.xlsx

Examples of Identification of the "Contains" Rule

"Contains" rule	File Name	Explanation
example	example.xlsx	The name of the identified file must contain the word "example" in any position.
example*	example b.xlsx	The name of the identified file must begin with the word "example" followed by any term.
*.xlsx	example.xslx	Any file ending with the ".xlsx" extension will be identified.
example-{date:yyyyMMdd}.xlsx	example-20220101.txt	Any file with the name "example-", with the date structure "yyyyMMdd" and the extension ".txt" will be identified, following the reference date entered.
example-{date:yyyy-MM-dd}.txt	example-2022-01-01.txt	Any file with the name "example-", with the date structure "yyyy-MM-dd" and with the extension ".txt" will be identified, following the reference date entered.

File name and extension identifier via "Regex" rule

Informs the name and extension of the file searched via regular expression rule that will evaluate the file name and extension.

With creation date equal to the reference date (ignoring time)

Optional checkbox that activates the file identification filter where the file creation date is the same as the reference date used to execute the automation flow.

With modification date equal to the reference date (ignoring time)

Optional checkbox that activates the file identification filter where the file modification date is the same as the reference date used to execute the automation flow.

Output Directory

Informs the path of the temporary folder on the Dattos server where the copied files will be saved.
You can use the terms referring to the Dattos folder in which the flow will be executed to compose the path.
- {root}(root folder code),
- {folder} (child folder code)
- {folder_name} (folder name).
- For example: processes{root}\Side B
