Find out below the prerequisites for integrating systems with the Dattos platform through web services (API).

For integration to be possible, the web service must meet the following connectivity requirements:

Use the REST style
Have an address (URL/endpoint) with HTTP or HTTPS protocol
In the case of HTTPS, have a valid SSL/TLS certificate
Be accessible by Dattos via:
- Public address in the case of cloud customers (SaaS)
- Address available within the local private network in the case of customers with local infrastructure (On-premise)
Receive requests using the GET (fetch) method
Return data in JSON or XML format
Return all requested content at once or paged

There are also authentication requirements. The currently supported authentication models are:

Basic authentication via static username and password ( user:password converted via encode base64 Basic dXN1YXJpbzpzZW5oYQ==)
Authentication via static API access key
Authentication via request in authorization route (to obtain JWT via POST method)
Authentication via AWS Signature
Authentication via HTTP Signature
No authentication
