Column to Split

Field that allows you to determine the column that will be divided from the list of all valid alphanumeric type columns in the sample.

Delimiter

This field allows you to select the character that will be a parameter for dividing the text with the following options:

Single Quote ( ' );
Double Quotes ( " );
Space;
Pipe ( | );
Dot ( . );
Semicolon ( ; );
Comma ( , );
Other: displays a new text field that allows you to define any character as a delimiter.

Number of Columns

It is possible to define the number of new columns that will be created by dividing the text. The default value is 2, but can reach up to 100.

New Column Name

By default, the value of this field is "New Column", but it allows you to define a default name for the new columns that will be created, with a limit of up to 100 characters. This default name will be replicated to the other columns followed by the numbering of each new column, according to the value in "Number of Columns".

Extra Characters

Allows you to decide what to do with the excess characters after dividing the text into columns, the first option being the default:

Ignore excess characters;
Keep excess characters in the last column.

By default, Dattos removes additional spaces around column text, optimizing available space and ensuring text is aligned correctly.
